Why students need this before placements

Many graduates have good marks but miss job offers in group discussions and HR interviews. Recruiters now also expect freshers to use AI tools sensibly. This workshop works on both.

  • Soft skills

Confidence, communication, group discussion, body language and HR interview answers.

  • AI skills

Using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to prepare for jobs, responsibly and honestly.

  • 80% hands-on

Every student speaks and practises, and writes a 30-day placement plan.

What students practise

Five modules in one 3-hour session, about 80% of it activities.

  • Confidence for the HR round

What recruiters look for, knowing your strengths, and the 60-second self-introduction.

  • Communication & group discussion

The 7 Cs, active listening, and how to enter, add value and conclude in a GD.

  • AI skills for job seekers

Using ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot to improve a resume summary, research a company and practise answers, and checking what the AI gives.

  • Professional image

First impressions, grooming and dress code, and body language do's and don'ts.

  • HR interview readiness

The STAR method, common HR questions, a breathing tool for nerves, and a mock interview.

How the 3 hours run

  1. Warm-up and introductions

    A brain warm-up, then every student practises a 60-second self-introduction.

  2. Communication and GD

Communication games and a mini group discussion in small teams.

  3. AI skills for job seekers

Students try AI tools for their own resume summary and interview answers.

  4. Mock interview and plan

Hot-seat mock interview, body language practice and a written 30-day placement plan.
