About Ulundurpet
Ulundurpet is on the main highway between Chennai and Tiruchirappalli, in Kallakurichi district, and much of its life runs on that road: lorries, buses, hotels and the trade that stops there.
Highway work means long and irregular hours, and time away from home. Around the town are farming villages whose children come in to Ulundurpet to study.
